Keto Pizza (Crust, Sauce, Toppings)
Every layer of our Keto pizza is equally important! The crust is the base of the pizza and responsible for holding the sauce and toppings without falling apart. The tomato sauce delivers that savory mouthfeel and ties the pizza crust and topping together. The toppings enhance the pizza in every way while also changing the flavor profile from light and fresh (margarita pizza) to heavy and meaty (meatlovers pizza).
- flourless - no dough, no rising, no resting, no kneading, and no gluten
- common ingredients - no coconut flour, no almond flour, no Xanthan Gum and no whey protein

What you need
The beauty of this low-carb and keto-friendly pizza recipe is that it makes the most out of pantry staples. There are no fancy ingredients to order online, so there is an excellent chance you can make this right now.
Since I've already prepared the pizza crust and sauce (in case you missed it, here are my recipes for keto pizza crust and keto pizza sauce), I'll only need to add a handful of ingredients. How to make a Keto Pizza
Learn how to make a Keto Pizza you'll love sharing with friends and family. Hopefully, you've already pre-baked the crust and are ready to assemble the whole pizza.
With a prepared crust and sauce, this recipe comes together in a snap. The instructions below are for my favorite pizza.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).
2. Spread the Keto pizza sauce evenly on the crust. Leave the edges untouched.
3. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese.
4. Add the Italian sausage (pre-cook and drain excess fat).
5. Bake pizza for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and lightly golden brown. Don't remove the parchment paper you used when baking the crust.
6. Cool slightly, cut, and serve.
Repeat with the remaining crust and toppings of your choice.
Tips for success
- For more dazzle and fresh aroma, drizzle a bit of extra virgin olive oil on the cooked pizza. A light dusting of parmesan cheese, some fresh basil or oregano are other great options.
- Use a pizza stone for restaurant-quality results. It gets very hot and distributes heat beautifully to produce a crispier crust.
- In as much as you'd want to pile your pizza with all your favorite toppings, less is really more. Just add each slice with bits of every topping.
- If you include veggies in your toppings, make sure you pat them dry to avoid the moisture from getting absorbed. This is especially true for veggies with high moisture content like cherry tomato, mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, spinach. Alternatively, consider sautΓ©ing, grilling, or roasting the veggies first. This will not only release much of the moisture but also add a more intense flavor profile.

Thanks for letting me know are interested in trying it. Let me know too how you like it!
Amanda
It looks good, but my husband only likes crispy crust. Maybe I'll make it next time he's gone for me and the boys. Pizza is one of our weaknesses too. We hit the Old Forge pizza place near us weekly for their specials. It's awesome we can get Old Forge pizza now, and not have to visit the in laws in the process.
Kim
I totally prefer a pizzaria pizza. No doubt. But this one completely takes care of my pizza cravings.
That cracked me up about not having to visit your in-laws.
Shauna
Cook the crust a little longer it wiΔΊl be more on the crispy side. This is also good for lasagna "noodles" instead of pasta.
Shari
Cool tip, thank you!
Cindy
I just made it and it totally reminds me of lasagna. So good!
Kim
So glad you liked it!

I had really good success somersizing before too. I need to go back to it as now I weigh more than I did before giving birth! π thanks for posting this. I have a few of her recipe books and it is an easy way of eating. I lent someone one of the books and they never gave it back. but I still have lots of good recipes and the web is a great resource.

Suzanne Somer's philosophy on combining foods is one that makes sense. I have her books, although I can't say that I follow it closely. But if I want to drop a couple pounds, it does work. As a rule, I don't eat "white". It just doesn't work after you've had kids. π My DH might like this pizza! Thanks for sharing!

730 Sage Street
Approximately 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Sometimes I also use the broil option!
Kim
Good luck Angela, I'm interested to know if you like it as much as I do!
Angela
My husband and I love it! I'll be making it again soon! Thanks again for sharing.
Kim
Thanks for letting me know! It certainly is NOT good old-fashioned crusty pizza, but I found it does a good job of fulfilling the pizza cravings!
Amy
I am printing this one...going back on atkins this week and I love pizza too
Amanda Ford
Can you use reduced fat Parmesan cheese?
ozzyisgod
this is so exciting! i have been on atkins since sept. 26th and have been doing just fine, accept like you i cannot stop thinking about pizza! this sounds so exciting and i am going to make it this weekend for sure. thank you so much for posting this. i miss pizza like no one's business!! lol
Micah
I used way more mozzarella, came out well. Next time I will try 50/50 parmasian and the crust mixture, to try and firm it up. Still good though!
Angela
My husband lost 120 lbs by doing a low-carb diet and he really likes this pizza.
Christina
Great recipe! I have made it twice now and it is amazing, especially since we are on a low carb diet. It fulfills my pizza craving and really does taste just like pizza! I would suggest cooking crust the first time for at least 25 minutes and put it on the lower rack in the oven. The first time I made it, it was so soft and mushy (cooked at 17 minutes). Last night, I put it on the bottom rack and cooked it till the bottom was a dark golden color. It made it more bread-ish instead of quiche-ish. Thanks so much for posting this recipe...love it!!!
DavetteB
Thanks for posting this - I had the Fast and easy book but it got lost in a move.
a scoop of plain protein powder in the crust might help tighten it up and still be low carb.
Holly
I cooked the crust longer as suggested by Christina... instead of marinara sauce I made a roasted red pepper sauce(no carbs). I topped it with cut up homemade meatballs (minus the bread crumbs), onion and mozzerella cheese. YUM!!!!!!
Holly
Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
3 whole Roasted Red Bell Peppers , seeded( you can roast your own or use jarred)
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1/2 cup Onion, finely diced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
In a saucepan cook onion & garlic in olive oil until soft. Puree pepper's in blender or food processor. Add pepper puree to cooked onion & garlic. Add salt & pepper. Add heavy cream and stir to combine.
This was very good on the No Carb Pizza crust. I also added oregano to the crust mixture the last time I made it and it was really good! You can also use this sauce on Shirataki Pasta sprinkled with Parmesean Cheese!
Christina
This sounds great! I can't wait to try it. I'm doing weight watchers though and have to figure out how to calculate the points for the dish. Any ideas?
Lauren
I am doing weight watchers as well and I put it into the recipie builder, added 1 cup of shredded part skim mozzarella cheese and one cup of sauce ( not sure if I will use the entire cup) turkey pepperoni with 24 pieces. Cut it into 24 pieces and it's 2 pts a piece! 2 pieces is 4 pts plus and 3 is six pts plus!!! So everything is the same except what I tweaked in the beginning of the post! Hope that helps!
Julie
SO good! Next time i'll butter the pan like you said, i used foil instead! lol, oh well, still tastes great!
Katie
Had this on pizza night and didn't miss the real thing! YUM! I used low-fat cream cheese & regular pizza sauce. It was good the next day cold for lunch too. Thanks for posting!
Kimberly B
I made this tonight... It was fantastic. Hubby went back for seconds. Delish!
Shayla
This pizza was Fabulous. My Husband and I are on our third week of a low carb diet. Pizza hit the spot. He was hesitant at first. But gobbled it up. I used Turkey sausage and Boars head Turkey Pepperoni. Thank you very much. This is a keeper
Ellen
Of course they do, but they add up to next to nothing once mixed together and spread out. This pizza is like 1 net carb per slice, if that.
eva
making marinara sauce is laughingly easy... just fry some diced onions, add minced garlic, basil, thyme, paprika, oregano and salt and add tomato paste, same amount of water and a bit of red wine. if you want it to have veggies you can add diced tomatoes and peppers, or carrot...
Jen
LOVE THIS! Posted a link to this page on my blog, wanted to make sure I gave you credit for the latest yummy dish I made!! Thank you!
Lindsey
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I made it for my husband and myself today for lunch. It was delicious. I think I will cook my crust a bit longer next time to make it a little crispier π
kristen
Great recipe! Cream cheese and mozzarella my favs! I'm so excited to try out that "crust"! I've been making squash pizzas. Another great pizza cheat and you might like it if you want a "crisper" crust experience. Just slice some yellow squash lengthwise. oil it and grill it or saute until golden brown. Put in ungreased baking pan and top with your sauce, cheese and toppings and bake at 400 until cheese it melted. Top with parm. Sooo good! Tastes like pizza! I'm addicted to it plus I get my veggies! π
Rachel
So excited about this! I have it cooking in the oven right now and cannot wait to take a bit! Being low carb is HARD to do especially being a low carb college student! This recipe is letting me be able to eat my favorite foods still! I added a little bit of Bacon to the pizza for a little something extra π
Amy
I love this...I just made it for our "hockey snack" everyone gave it two thumbs up....thank you soooo much for sharing this...I saved a few pieces for lunch tomorrow π
Leslie
AMAZING!! I added some banana peppers and it was perfection! My Little boy even liked it. Its definitely something I'll make again. Ill cook the crust a bit longer next time so its crispier but this is delicious!
leah- diaries of a domestic goddess
I totally bookmarked this! I am going to try it!
gemie
This was FAnTASTIC!!!!! I used tomato slices instead of sauce and hamburger onion and pepperoni on one half and feta, olive and spinach on the other. We LOVED it!!!!
Lauren
This is an amazing recipe! I have to admit, I was skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. I made a buffalo chicken pizza with Frank's wing sauce (0 carbs!), spinach and sharp cheddar, and it was just like regular pizza.
Liz
Just made this, better then normal pizza!! SO excited to try this again, and again. My 3 yr old daughter loved it and I feel great feeding it to her.
Theresa
BTW, Walmart generic pizza sauce has no sugar :0)
Thanks for the great pizza recipe!
Terry
I just made this! I cooked "the crust" for 22 minutes....would definitely cook a little longer next time. Also I found if you let the pizza cool down a little before you cut into it., that helps to keep it "firm". But it tasted AWESOME!! Definitely curbs your pizza cravings and filling too!!!
Mandy
I made this last night and I could not have been more pleased. My husband was very skeptical saying that I should have just got a whole wheat crust instead so that I wouldn't screw it up! However as soon as he tried it he was incredibly impressed. I did make a few changes in that I doubled the crust and used 1/3 less fat cream cheese. Also the San Marzano pizza sauce has very minimal sugar and tastes great too. With part skim mozzarella and pre cooked and crumbled turkey sausage, I had a delicious dinner ready in no time flat with a family of boys as pleased as ever! Thank you so much π
Stacey Caufield
We eat this pizza bi-monthly and just love it. It is one of the meals that my husband, kids and I never tire of! Fantastic!
Nancy Bartlett
sounds great can hardly wait to go to the store to get everything. Thanks for sharing.
Mary Ellen
Made this tonight for my boyfriend who is on the atkins diet..he absolutely loved it!!! this "crust" base opened my mind to many different new recipes I can make him..thanks a bunch!! We will be making this again..and very soon!
Amber
I was really hoping this didn't have eggs in it, it was almost perfect for my sister who has allergies to eggs and wheat (and tons of other things)
Jess
The hubs has an egg allergy too. :/ I'm stumped on how this could be substituted. π
RumpyDog!
Found ya on Pinterest! This sounds so unusual that I gotta try it!
Melanie
First WOW it was delicious! My kids demanded MORE! Second its not a NO carb π big sad face, BUT it is a really really good LOW carb pizza π huge happy face! It has 7g of carbs per quarter. BUT its still amazing and can be eaten on a low carb diet! Can't wait to try it again. OH and three if you like a crispy crust try using a baking stone instead of glass or aluminum, I used a Pamper Chef bar pan and it made it crispy! Thanks for the super yummy recipe!
amy
Thank you (and my Pinterest friends) for posting this recipe! My husband has been lo-carbing it for about a year, and his one downfall is always craving pizza. I started Atkins about 3 wks ago, and I will def. be making this recipe this week! And I'll also use some of the tips from below (like cooking on a pizza stone and using the crust base for additional recipe ideas).
Nance
I just made this and it was oh sooo good!! Topped it off with lots of veggies and my husband loved it!!! He didn't even miss the bread! Def will do it again! Thanks
gj
I found it very amazing, if you've been on low carbs for any length of time you gladly welcome pizza! Yes it's not zero carbs but it's fabulous. Regardless of all the complaing. Thanks for taking the time to share this to those of us that appreciate a new meal!
Kelly
Just made this and it was delish!
Sharyn
This is actually easier and (if you catch a sale) cheaper to make! My oldest, who is 15 and very picky about his pizzas, begged me to make another one. I did not use the casserole dish but a regular pizza pan. The crust is still soft, but it's amazing!!
Crys
So I've been doing a low carb/ low sugar diet since April due to a medical problem, and I have done quite well and feel better than I have in a very long time. I understand to some people it does not seem logical to eat more fats than grains but If done correctly you do eat more veggies and and fruits and better foods. Its not like low carbers only chew on lard, fat and animal by products. With that beibg said ; Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Yes there are some carbs in this but your body needs some carbs to function. Thank you for posting this! you have helped be fight my cravings for another day. And keep the low carb food suggestions coming.
Erica Rebman
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My husband is doing the carb diet for a work contest and he was craving pizza so bad!! We love pizza and have it about once a week so this really saved him!! It is so delicious I might just make it for everyone sometimes!! π
Silvia
I just made this pizza tonight--it's awesome. I cooked the crust almost 40 minutes until it was crispy. Then made a combo pizza with mini pepperoni, black olives, anchovies, onion. It came out amazing. Totally worth it. Satisfied my craving for pizza. Thanks for posting the recipe! Made in an 11 x 13 glass baking dish.
Lois
This was the best!!!! My son is a diabetic and he thought this was the greatest!! He ate 3 huge pieces. We put peppers and mushrooms. If you like pizza this is the BOMB!!!!
Stacey
Had this tonight, It was delish! Will definetly make this again!
Shannon
I'm on a low-carb bariatric surgery diet and I tried this last night- it was FANTASTIC! I really felt like I had an actual slice of pizza for the first time in many months. Thank you so much!!
Sharon
You are a Genius! Just started Somersizing 2 days ago and have already lost 2lbs. Thanks to you I eon't feel deprived when my hubby and kids order pizza on Friday night.
Alison
All of you need to look up the science behind a low carb diet, obviously. Yes, it is high in fat. But, fat does not make you fat, carbohydrates do. The creator of the South Beach diet (low carb diet that eventually re-introduces "good carbs" into your diet) originally created the diet for heart health and it eventually caught on as a weight loss fad. Any type of pizza should not be eaten in excess and this recipe applies to the same principal. I've done low carb several times in the past few years and have had profound success losing weight and keeping it off. I've eaten food worse and fattier than this liberally.
Angela
Look up the recipe for a cauliflower pizza crust. It's delicious, more crust like, and lower in fat. It involves shredding cauliflower, mixing with Italian herbs, garlic, mozzarella, and an egg. To make up for all. The cheese in the crust you can go really light over the toppings. Delicious, healthy and low carb. Win-win people!
Stacey
I have made this several times when my husband and I want the taste of pizza. It is really good....I prefer this over fast food pizza. All in moderation folks!
Toni Marie Caravello Feimer
I love love love pizza but hate all the carbs bloating me up with a carb face. When we are on Atkins years ago, we used to order a huge sicilian pie and sit at the pizza parlor eating the cheese and sauce off the top. People thought we were nuts... but we were THIN. Now, I can have pizza and NOT worry about the carbs with the recipe. Thanks
annie
cheese has zero carbs, plain tomatos a small amount
Nikki
I have made this a few times and really enjoy it. My husband says it reminds him more of a lasagna than a pizza. I plan on trying to put some crumbled sausage that our family just ground up and seasoned earlier this week.
Pat Storozuk
I have to admit that I was really skeptical about this recipe as I am a pizza lover and there is nothing better than a really good crust, but this was really good! Thumbs up! Thank you!
CH
Absolutely delicious!
Kim
Fat does not clog arteries. Hydrogenated oils and trans-fats do but cheese and eggs do not. This is a myth the diet fad industry has been spreading for decades. Notice all the the processed "low-fat" foods with chemical ingredients and then look at how our obesity rates have gone UP, not down. Our food culture participates in a campaign of misinformation.
Megan
Delicious! We had this last night and not only did it taste good, but it was very filling!
mary
So does the crust on this pizza taste like a crust or is it mushy..........it looks delicious but interested in how the crust turns out?
Thanks
Tara
FABULOUS! I've been seeing this (and similar recipes online). I was unsure how it would turn out but every website would have DOZENS of rave reviews. Well add one more. It was DEE-LISH. Mine did turn out a little to fragile to hold but I couldn't get over how "bread-like" it tasted. Definitely had the mouthfeel and FLAVOR. Also VERY filling.
Mona
Tried this today and it was good! Husband is on Adkins so it was a treat him. Thank you!
Elisa
Tried this recipe and it was delicious! I accidentally added 1cup of Parmesan and used Prego 100% Natural Italian Heart Smart Traditional and then double the recipe. I put it on a cookie sheet(15slices). I track the nutritional value, so for 1 slice of this pizza(appox): Calories 237, 2 carbs, 15 fat, protein 18, sodium 489. I got my pizza fix and low carbs and it was yummy! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!
Naomi
what seasonings did you add to your Ragu Sauce?
Naomi
ha ha. nevermind I see them in the recipe. I swear I am aging faster and faster these days. π
Kim
LOL it's ok!
Ana
Does anyone know roughly how many servings this yields?
Kim
I guess it depends upon the appetite. You can get 3-4 services for normal appetites but I swear one time I ate half the tray myself.
Jen
This recipe was delicious and will be a staple in our lo/no carb arsenal. I used sausage and turkey bacon for toppings.
Kim
Thanks for letting me know!
Priscilla White
I just made the pizza and it was amazing!! This will be a favorite of mine for years to come :}
Kim
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
Angela
I made this tonight and put it all into myfitnesspal.com under the recipe settings. I did not use the Ragu sauce, so my sauce had more carbs. Since I'm not an Atkins follower, this doesn't terribly upset me. Using the ingredients I did, when cut into 8 pieces, each serving is 175 calories. Not bad for pizza! Thanks for the awesome recipe!
xo,
A
Kim
Thanks so much for the feedback!!!!
Gaz
Hi I am going to try this tonight (on Atkins and housemate just made a pizza and now I REALLY want one! LOL) but you didn't say how much pepper in the crust or Garlic Powder you used (in both)? Is there a standard measurement I am unaware of? π I would guess at like a teaspoon for each but confirmation would be nice. Don't want to ruin it! LOL
Thanks
bravegirl
I've done this same crust for a Mexican casserole--you just use salsa, and layer whatever Mexica condiments you want--jalepenos, cheeses, etc.
Denise Smith
I was wondering can you use reduced fat cream cheese in this recipe also? I already have it in the house and could make everything right now! Thank you for this recipe. I love pizza and didn't want to cut it completely out of the house.
Kim
I don't know for sure. I think maybe low-fat doesn't fully blend as well but worth a shot? I can't imagine it would be too bad.
let us know!
Karen
Made this tonight. Oh, wow. My toppings were Italian sausage, red peppers, onion, mushroom, mozz and pepperoni. My husband won't stop picking at it. So so good!! Thank you.
Laurie
This was super good! As others have commented, this pizza is not carb free but based on the tomato sauce and cheese I used, plus pepperoni and mushrooms, if I divided this pizza into four servings, each serving would have 5-6 g of carbs. Papa John's pepperoni and mushroom pizza has 37g of carbs in just one slice!
tried it
I tried this. It was good. I think I put too much cayenne pepper and I was not crazy about the strong oregano taste, will go easier on that next time. I cooked the crust longer than 17 minutes (30 min) and at about 365Β°. It did have crispiness to it but the consistency, as mentioned in previous comments, is like a thin layer of quiche, quite eggy. It was good, next time I will use veggy toppings along with the mozzarella and Pepperoni's. This was a trial run, my husband liked it, he said it was a nice "snack" lol....he missed the bread I think.
Tess
Parm, Mozarella and eggs are all 0 carbs. The only things adding carbs would be cream cheese and the marinara sauce...
Victoria
This is NOT carb free. Eat the whole thing and that's 20 carbs gone. I think you should read the atkins book and you'll learn cheese, eggs and tomato sauce DO contain carbs! This is a low carb pizza but no way carb free.
JJ
Are you gonna eat the whole pizza?!?!?!? Come on now, its a great recipe, no need to hate.
Melanie
I really like the recipe just wondering if cooking it longer would make the crust crispier? Any advice on how to get a more crispy crust?
Danielle
Have you heard of Trim Healthy Mama? It is similar to the Suzanne Sommers diet. I have done both and find them both effective and less painful and more balanced than other approaches. There are a lot of people currently don't the Trim Healthy Mama plan, you should look into it!
Kimberly Grabinski
I haven't but I'll look it up, thanks for the info!
Shari
Cheese and eggs, pepperoni and sausage have 0 carbs. C'mon people...I'm making this now and cant wait to try it...I am currently on Atkins. I will let you know what I think...and
thanks for the recipe!
Kathy
I was pleasantly surprised with how good this turned out. I divided the recipe in half and used a glass pie plate. Having to give up pizza is the toughest of all. This recipe is better than most gluten free recipes!
As for the sauce...I've been making my own for years and just as easy as opening a store jar sauce. Get a 28oz can of Tomato PurΓ©e (get the good kind). It is very low in sodium and sugars and is nice and thick. You can add dried Italian seasoning blend, garlic and sea salt to taste and simmer while you cook the rest. Use fresh herbs if you want to make it better but dried is very good. I add some EVOO when I'm making this for pasta sauce but no oil needed for pizza since the cheese adds enough fat. Enjoy!
Connie
You don't use fennel in your sauce? Fennel is the main ingredient that makes pizza sauce taste like pizza sauce. Without it you have nothing more than marinara.
Denise
Getting carbs from unprocessed things like cheese and fruits is 100% better for you than getting carbs from process foods like bread ect. And yes you CAN get unprocessed cheese.

This pizza turned out so darn good, I cant wait until next weekend to have it again!! I used shredded parmesan cheese instead of grated by accident and it's the only way I will make it from now on!! I used about 3/4 cup. I found the sugar free Ragu with no problem. So yummy!! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!!
Kimberly Grabinski
Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it! And that's an interesting tip to use shredded parmesan, maybe I will try that!
Lakisha
My six year old gave the pizza a thumbs up. I was concerned I made the crust wrong because it was very loose. I poured it on a silpat and it still got stuck. The good news is I can have my pizza cravings fed. Do you have the nutritional info?
Cheryl
I have been using this recipe for years. My favorite topping is pesto, spinach, tomatoes, fresh garlic, spinach, fresh mozzarella, and sausage.
RobinJeanne
There is about 4 carbs per slice (out of 8)... but still 4 in comparison to 18..... I just made it tonight and it was good. I'm think of doing something sweet with it.... like cinnimon danish with nutra sweet......
RobinJeanne
Also I cooked the crust about twice as long as they sugest so it would be crisp and it almost was. I was able to pick it up with my hands though still a little droopy, I cook it longer maybe 30 minutes next time.
Martcia
I made this last night and my husband loves pizza and he loved this one. Thanks for sharing
Natalie
I'm not following any carb-free plans, yet I would still LOVE to eat that pizza. It looks crazy good!
Save me a slice π
Stacy
I am curious as to the calories content and carb content. Tomato sauce has carbs.
sarah
Actually, if you read her books she does back it up with her doctor that did a ton of research on not combining. As to the whole grains; we get plenty, I start off with oatmeal, cream of wheat, grape nuts or shredded wheat. I also enjoy whole durum wheat pasta, I just pair it with a yummy filled vegetable marinara sauce. Its a healthy eating plan that does work and doesn't deprive you.
Yolanda
Mmmm......looks and sounds delish. I'm making it for supper tonight. Can't wait! Thanks for the recipe π
Jacq
Awesome recipe - I have made it - tastes great! But - it isn't no carb - it is low carb as long as you control your portion π Every ingredient has carbs in this recipe - all cheese, eggs and spices have carbs. So would the tomato sauce π Still a great recipe π
Parth P
Any way to make this without using eggs?
Lee
id like to try making your no carb pizza but I'm unable to do dairy from cow and sheep. Would you have any suggestions for me?
Janette
This sounds pretty interesting! I think I'm going to have to try it out since I am trying to eat less carbs! Thanks for sharing!
Bianca
this is an excellent idea I've been craving pizza. Definitely going to have to try it. But will have to make some adjustments and eat a very small portion because it is not completely carb free.
James
Where do you get your information? Fat does not equal carbohydrates.
Kimberly Taylor
I would like to follow along with you on removing the additives, GMO, and living on REAL honest to goodness plants and vegetables. I want to get to the point where me and my family can live off the land. Grow/harvest our foods. My husband is diabetic so I have to do this for us both. It will take a while. But, bring it on; we can do this! Along with your pizza. :o)
Farm living will be ours soon.
Thanks.

This pizza was absolutely incredible! I used 1/3 fat cream cheese and had to leave it in for about 27 minutes to get golden brown but it was excellent. Would definitely make again! Thank you for the recipe!
Kate
Get the walden farms basil and tomato sauce. Ive used it to make my own pizzas with pita bread and its on point! The sauce has ZERO carbs. So that right there cuts out alot of carbs that everyone is complaining about. I'm excited to make this!!
James
It's absolutely low carb. Theres no carb in cheese. Non in eggs. very little in tomato sauce.
Rosemary
thanks for adding these, it would have taken me ages to work it all out. so cheers
Heidi
I have been on Jorge Cruise 100 Diet for 3 week and have lost 15 lb eating low carbohydrates every thing in this pizza is on the diet. It is free of sugar calories under 2 carbs. I eat pizza, chocolate cake, chocolate pudding and lose weight. Thank you so much the pizza is absolutely incredible.
c
Thank you! This was good.
I had 1/3 fat cream cheese on hand and it still worked....
Ase
It definitely has carbs but it's a low-carb recipe. When carb counting 15g of carbs= 1 net carb.
Low carb eating still requires some carbs. This is helpful for people like me who are diabetic.
Can't wait to try this recipe.
joanne
i am pretty sure she meant carbs in the starch meaning i.e complex carbs.
Michele
for goodness sakes, can people stop obsessing over a few carbs?!!! I am a personal trainer, 45 years old and in great shape. I understand the low carb diets buy everyone needs some carbs. Yes I eat high protein, very low sugar, high fiber and also limit carbs but not eating any carbs is not realistic or healthy.
Try cycling your carbs and consume them after exercise or after fasting to ensure they are not stored as fat. Yes go for higher protein and healthy fats but please do not go crazy on eating no carb all the time!!
Toni
I think you are missing the point in the carb free crust...by cutting out the carbs in the crust which is the bread, you are cutting out the un-necessary carbs, you can still get some healthy carbs by adding in some peppers, tomatoes, fruit, ect. I had WLS and cannot eat bread for the rest of my life and I'm super excited about this carb free crust! Hoping my family will love it as well!
Jayne
Well goodness, Michele...as a diabetic, I am cutting out as many carbs I can. The only way to do so is to find replacements for my old go to dishes. This looks like a great one!
Lydia
Me too!
Maritza
i made this today and it was delicious!!
Jen Zolak
This is so good! Awesome! Thanks for sharing the recipe! I substituted nutritional yeast for the parmesan and used low fat cream cheese, and it was amazing. It tastes a bit like a pizza frittata.
elizabetnh
you are right about saying how many carbs. You do not eat the whole pizza in a sitting
Janice James
Trying to eat low-carb and only eat what we prepare at home. Tough to do everyday! Hubby was doubtful about this recipe, but loved it! Made my own sauce with organic tomato paste plus cayenne, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. Cooked red bell pepper and onions in the microwave for two minutes and added as toppings. Yes, veggies added carbs, but worth it! Sure we needed a fork it eat the pizza, but that, too, was worth it! Thanks for the recipe!
Kimberly Grabinski
Thanks for the feedback, I very much appreciate it!
Rosemary
How many portions does this recipe feed please?
tricia
Soft pizza you eat with a fork...so in other words its a dip ? Because how is it possible to make a crust with cream cheese ?
Amanda
The eggs and parm make the crust set solid. It sounds crazy, but it's not "dip" by any means. Really the only reason you would need a fork is if you don't like folding your slice (folding keeps it rigid).
Megan
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! My young kids thought I was amazing and all asked for seconds!!! Thank you so much for the WONDERFUL recipe!!!
Renee
I tried this pizza, which I agree with most does have some carbs and that is by using the my fitness pal app scanner.Labels don't always tell the truth .. So I think we should all be respectful and call it what you like low car no carb figure it out and adjust it to your diet needs. Anyone who is serious about their diet will do the research and find what is really the deal and use that info for themselves.I think this is the best I have ever made .. I tried the fat head and the cauliflower pizza.. this is by far the best. I did not gain but lost 1.2 pounds after having a health slice having it again for lunch.. Thank you for this even my no diet husband loved it and says its better than all the other low carb pizza I have made... its a keeper. This is my opinion and mine only...use what you can and what does not fit make the changes for yourself. Ps I never write reviews:-)
Brandi
Any ideas on freezing the crust or after u put on the toppings. That way it would be super quick to pop in the oven on a weeknight?
Kim
I haven't tried it, but I would think it would be ok. Let me know if you try it!
Brooke
It doesn't say it's carb-free...
MyRedSandals
Hmm, not sure what I did wrong, as I followed the recipe to the letter. While each of the ingredients used was delicious in its own right, the "crust" never developed... it was like eating pizza toppings on top of a very thin omelet.
Kim
Hi there! Did you cook the crust first and make sure it browned enough?
Tammy
This was so good! My whole family loved it! I haven't had pizza in over a year since having WLS in August of 2016. This was like heaven! Thank you so much for this amazing recipe! Im so excited to have pizza again!
Hali
Is the grated Parmesan the kind you shake on pizza or the bagged grated Parmesan? This looks delicious! ?
Kim
So long as it's a finely grated cheese, it shouldn't matter. Shredded Parmesan is probably not recommended but I haven't tried it.
Elena
That is why it's called ALMOST no carb pizza
Brittany
Is it good reheated as in leftovers?
Kim
I enjoyed it as leftovers, yes!
gloria norman
Just tried this recipe, and we LOVED it.Added some turkey sausage, bell peppers, and onions. We have been on atkins for almost a month now and we were craving pizza. But no more.THANK-YOU
Kim
Well it does cook more after you put the sauce on it, but as I mentioned, you may end up having to eat it with a fork. But it shouldn't require a spoon. Did you let it cool before adding the toppings and then cook it more?
Tarl
Tried three times to make it and it seems like Iβm going wrong somewhere, the centre doesnβt seem to want to cook, so once consuming itβs literally just cream cheese still in the middle. Any tips?
Kim
What kind of pan are you using? Metal or ceramic may need longer cook time or higher heat. Also, are you spreading it as thin as possible? If your dish is smaller than 9x13 it may be too thick.
Tarl
Iβm using a glass pan, perhaps I havenβt thinned it out enough, Iβll give it another try and make it as thin as I possibly can and see what happens!
Mary Ramsey
How many servings in a pizza? I need to make sure I don't eat too much so i can watch my carb count. Thanks! It looks amazing and I can't wait to try it!
Kim
I calculated it as 4 servings.
Holly
This was awesome and the while family loved it! I did add 1/4 cup tapioca flour to the crust and that helped it be more βcrustyβ. So yummy!
Kim
Great idea to add the tapioca flour, I'll have to try it! So glad everyone enjoyed it.
Gabby
I just tried this recipe for dinner and it was amazing! I made some tweaks to it and my hubby loved it! For the first, I added about another 1/4th cup of parm cheese. Baked it per the instructions, added cheddar cheese and baked for another fifteen minutes. I used store bought pizza sauce and topped my pizza with mozzarella, triple cheddar cheese mix, pepperoni, cananadian bacon, and topped it with crushed red pepper and Italian seasoning. Then I let it bake til the cheese melted. It was amazing! One of my new favorites when Iβm having a pizza craving!
Faye
I did the same thing, increasing the parm to 1/2 cup. It made for a much firmer crust. I also used pizza sauce, instead of marinara.
Rich
I have made this twice and the results are phenomenal! Follow the recipe to the letter as far as cooking time for the crust.I put the cooked crust in my freezer for 10 minutes and continued afterwards with the toppings.
Parchment paper will help release the crust from the pan
Kim
Thank you so much for the feedback and the tip about the freezer Rich. So glad you like the recipe!
MJ
Just started doing low carbs, this pizza sounds delicious. I like to use a pizza stone when I make a a regular yeast dough pizza. Would a stone work this crust if i put in on parchment paper?
Kim
I think only if the stone has a lip on it. The crust is pretty soft before it is cooked, I'd be concerned that it would run off the edges.
Karen
Can you use ground beef in this as well?
Kim
Oh sure! Just brown it and drain the grease first.
James
So do you butter the pan or the parchment paper?
Iβm not making a joke I donβt cook much and would like to try this
Kim
James, it's an either-or situation. The parchment paper takes the place of the butter. I'll be more clear in the directions about that.
BRMG
Delicious! So filling. It took longer than 10 minutes to make but well worth the wait. Great recipe!,
Theresa
Thank you for sharing this recipe! Im very new to the super low carb way of eating and am really feeling pizza. I ventured outside the box and added an additional egg and 2 table spoons of almond flour. It's not "rustic pizza crust", but is very good!!
Shannon
How did you calculate the calorie amount? The cream cheese alone is 800 calories
Kim
That's why I have the disclaimer about calculating the information yourself, the recipe calculates it and I cannot confirm that it's completely accurate. Brands and products may vary. When I don't provide nutrition information, people ask for it constantly so I do provide it, but I really suggest you do your own based upon the actual products you use.
Paula
Don't eat the whole pizza!!
Jayme
The 800 calories for the cream cheese would be for the whole pizza. The calorie count is based on a serving (1/4 of the pizza). So, the calories from the cream cheese would be 200 cals per serving. Sounds like the calorie count is fairly accurate depending on how much and what type of meat you put on it.
Layla
How much is 1 8 oz cream cheese in grams?
Kim
8 ounces = 226.796 grams according to Google
Michelle
Well that was amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. I donβt love the crunchy ness of the almond flour one but this hit the spot.
Lisa
Can u freeze this pizza after it is made and than just reheat it at a later date..
Kim
I am not sure the crust would do well being frozen.
Stephanie F
Are these macros for a 1/4 of the pizza? What is the serving for these macros? Thank you!
Kim
Yes, they are calculated based on 4 servings.
Gail
Can you make it low sodium also, and if so how can you do it?
Kim
Gail, you would have to figure out where the sodium is coming from (check all of your ingredient labels) and then try and find a lower sodium option.
Julia Stearns @ Healthirony
That Almost No Carb pizza looks delicious, I just want to devour it off the screen! Thanks for sharing
Jill Roberts @ Wellnessgeeky.com
OMG. That pizza is nice and cute. Will prepare it for a birthday next week. I can't wait to try that out!
Deb
I've noticed several individuals making a comment about it's not no carb.
The recipe title doesn't say NO CARB, it says ALMOST NO CARB. That makes a difference.
